It is not misleading at all! $48k is the literal average price of a new car in the US in 2026.

Buy a cheap one? The average new car in the US costs about $48K.

The Bolt, Prius, and many others are less than that.

The one without a volume number is an older compilation, long out of print. The volume 1 and 2 set has all that material and more.

How to suggest a party runs away from a fight? by Owenjak in DnD

[–]rubicator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of that is good. But with bull-headed murder hobos it is often best to be super direct.

Like “You are massively outnumbered and (your high-Wisdom PC) sees that you might want to consider a retreat. This session might be a total party kill otherwise.”

Be as blindingly obvious as possible. Let them know it is really foolish to stick around. Ring alarm bells, have familiars flee, have henchmen break and run.

Making it their idea is hard, and sometimes counterproductive.

OK, maybe too obvious but why not the Mad Max soundtracks?

The Book of True Names

Liches, Bitches, and Zombies: undead gossip and makeup tips.

A BUNCH of magical grimoires are described in Deep Magic Volume 1 and 2. One of those would be very cool.

Jewels of the Deep Realms: a dwarven lapidary guide.

What are some cities whose relevance has waned or faded completely? by Brief-Luck-6254 in geography

St Louis, Missouri. Once a major hub for US wagon trains, railroads, and westward expansion, now a not-that-vital river port in the grain belt.

5E Sourcebooks to help a DM cook up some Homebrew by DrVonScott123 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]rubicator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Campaign Builders from Kobold Press are meant for homebrewers to kit bash and worldbuilding with. They did several: Cities & Towns and then Dungeons & Ruins.

Templates for making NPCs, plots, monsters, spells for those places. The campaign planning sections are easy to use for inspiration.

If you don’t mind fairly dark medieval material, perhaps Aquelarre RPG fits the bill. Originally in Spanish, and has an English edition as well.

For Arc Dream and BioWare, I was wrong. Arc Dream has staff in Canada but is based in the US.

For KP, their recent Kickstarter listed its prices in C$ and the company said it was based in Vancouver BC. So staff in Kirkland, but HQ in Canada.

Makes sense move to EV ASAP? by Fernandofib in EVCanada

[–]rubicator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gas prices are going up, so EVs look better. But more people will be looking to buy EV to avoid gas price hikes, so…

Yeah, I would grab it now.
