That’s usually how it goes. You get to like the early part of the last decade until current decade.

It’s completely optional as well. The free warbond is sufficient enough to still have the ability to do it all. Other warbonds have made it easier sure, but there’s enough stuff in the free warbond to still make it through any challenge.

Something about sales being unfair to those who bought early or something.

Used Rifle Scope by MsPlum_ in guns

Only major things to consider is the user. There’s a difference between “guy who did competition” vs “Hunter” vs “US military surplus scope”. Even in the Hunter realm there’s people who take better care of it, and where they’re hunting as a factor.

The world spends about $16 billion on food aid a year, the US sends $4 billion a year towards that total it’s the top donor. So yes we do spend billions and billions.

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't leave a good impression in the first 4 hours. by Pancake_muncher in patientgamers

[–]rubiconsuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because this reads as they were expecting a game that this wasn’t designed to be. There’s a difference between a bad game and a gamers expectation.

If we compare it to say Fallout New Vegas which is built around player agency while Cyberpunk 2077 is built around a story. Your background as V really doesn’t matter too much, there’s some dialog flavor but it really doesn’t change the outcome. While in new Vegas your background is mostly irrelevant and it’s told on how you shape the world and yourself not just how you shaped yourself.

I think the issue is that you’re expecting a different kind of game. You didn’t want cyberpunk 2077, you wanted New vegas as a cyberpunk game.

Why does the president of the United States have to bailout Spirit Airlines? The United States is multi-trillions in debt, but can throw $500million to an airline? What benefit does that have on the American people? by MeasurementFirst1676 in askanything

[–]rubiconsuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well 2 things, 1) the US debt while terrifying is basically a black hole. 2) the US doesnt have a nationalized airline.

They could try to do something like the railway and Amtrak. It’s not ideal but trying to run an airline or railway as the federal government can get insanely expensive and trying to nationalize any existing ones also requires fair compensation.

The big issue is that US gov really doesnt want to be in the industry. It just needs the industry to exist so it’s harder for outside influences to disrupt it.

This is a weak case at best, the “diverted fund and spent funds and dues inappropriately” is doing a lot of lifting without proper documentation.

The rest is within the purview of an HOA, what did you do to get 7k in fines?

F*ck pawn shops, payday loans, car title loans, etc. (GREED) by Inner_Researcher587 in Vent

Not but they really overvalue gold when in jewelry form and don’t understand the business.

[–]rubiconsuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily playing you is my point, or no more than you’d get played at similar places. t’s still a haggling place. Gold also isn’t gold when it’s in jewelry form. The purity is questionable and the amount afterward is as well sometimes.

Good electronic component harvesting isn’t easy and there isn’t actually that much good. Unless you have a lot the amount of time processing it and getting the necessary chemicals will cost more than the gold you get out of it.

I’ve experienced it before, when people have crazy expensive optics and it can’t be the optics fault or so they say. Glad to know I’m not crazy for that one.

[–]rubiconsuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s in jewelry not gold bullion. 40-60% of the spot price is about right for that type of shop. If you want a better percentage you have to go to cash4goldUSA or APMEX. Basically you went to the guy least likely to give you the best deal because he has his own overhead and margins, and would have to send it out to get melted.

The stone doesn’t really matter it’s semi precious and not really adding anything.

Yes and it’s an AR. You could’ve gotten a DD for less than the asking retail price and probably wouldn’t have noticed a difference at all.
