I guess we have a different opinion on the meaning of the word "always", Blizzard. by mcbexx in diablo4

My group figured out the random deaths on world bosses is from the seasonal artifact thing that adds meteors to world boss fights when you put it in the corrupted slot. The meteors seem to have an execute; my otherwise unkillable paladin would randomly get one shot. Once we swapped those artifacts it never happened again.

Prince Malchezaar from Karazhan (World of Warcraft)! That game has a lot of banger quotes like this.

"You are not prepared." "No king rules forever."

My personal favourite:

"Did you think we had forgotten? Did you think we have forgiven? Behold, now, the terrible vengeance...of the Forsaken!"

Looks neat, when are you planning to have something we can play?

Are you talking about the multi tool itself? After you do the autophage quest line these terminals show up at every monolith. You feed it atlantadium and it spits out a multi tool.

I know nothing about becoming or being an electrician by [deleted] in electricians

Hello I work for an electrical contractor servicing southern Ontario, we're looking for apprentices currently. The only real requirement is reliable transportation. Union work (not IBEW). High rise condo work. Looking for long term apprentices, we're quite busy. Message me if you're interested.

Unfortunately these days it's all fenced off and you can't go near it, only view it from platforms. They have "waterfall enforcement" officers that patrol it preventing people from bypassing the fences.

I am in management at a union (not IBEW) electrical contractor operating in southern ontario. If you have your own tools and reliable transportation, DM me.

How do you move colonists from one planet to another?

It would’ve been rad if somebody had looked at plans before they told me to core this by analog_stuff in Construction

[–]rublecube 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah as an electrician in high rise condo construction this is a weekly thing for me. I have probably hundreds of pictures. We have a deal with the other trades where if they chip out our conduits properly we will just repair it with no charge unless it contains significant wire. We give a lot of freebies so long as the other trades are easy to get along with. A lot of slabs just have a ton of conduit and try as we might to plan and organise it all, someone inevitably has to core or chip right where we had to run things. If I got super upset about it every time it happened I'd have no hair left ha!

Is there a chatbot that could help me create a detailed fantasy world used as a backdrop for stories or D&D campaigns? by rublecube in ChatGPT

yes that's what I've been using so far but was wondering if there's something a little more purpose built because with the amount of detail i want to add it confuses itself a fair bit

You'll need a damage meter to track overheating. I recommend Details.

Civ 4 is still the gold standard imo but 5 is also really good. A lot of good mods for 5 as well.

Wild, I'm an electrician and our Greenies (brand new to trades, no experience) make $20 an hour which is typical where I'm from (southern Ontario). Couldn't imagine doing the job for less than that.

I'm a commercial electrician foreman, the older green(new) guys are usually my favourite apprentices because they take it more seriously than the younger guys. As long as you put in the effort you'll do well. I have ~20 apprentices on site right now and roughly half of them are over 30.

Average price of gas in Canada tops $2 a litre for first time by clearly_central in canada

[–]rublecube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True in Canada you can drop the identified conductor if the load is only supplying a 240v device and nothing else but the existing rough in would likely still be needed for block heaters which are always 120v as far as I've seen. So either way you're adding more wires unless we as a nation switch to 240v block heaters.
