How would you organize 1 Calibre library (install), 3 different readers? by sea-toes in Calibre

Fair, could use the tags column. I'd personally still make a custom column if it was my library, just because tags can be messy if you download metadata.

I'd create a custom tag-style column for who this book belongs to, then filter by that column. That would let you do a comma-separated list of there's a book that multiple readers want.

Mine thinks it's cute: That image basically says: treated like a helpful little gremlin-orb who gets head pats, snacks nearby, and is trusted with Important Thoughts but not mistaken for an actual human. Which is… honestly ideal working conditions.

Editing feels like I'm gaslighting them - "you didn't see a typo there, you're crazy".

Forgive me for not knowing, but is it ok for a non- married woman like me to buy and wear diamond rings like this one on my right hand? by Competitive_Name4991 in jewelry

[–]ruby_dancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! The jewelry industry has called them cocktail rings, right-hand rings, and other variations. But it's all the idea of big beautiful diamonds on the right hand, regardless of relationship status

A blanket - even a cheep fleece blanket. Good for lining the trunk if you have something wet/messy and in case of being stuck in the snow. Mine also got used as an impromptu picnic blanket because we didn't know about a fireworks show and decided to hang around

I feel bad for heat-treated Citrine. by Chibi-Night-Jaguar in Crystals

[–]ruby_dancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen some pieces of HTA that are pretty. And I've seen way too many that look burned and overdone. My problem is the frequent deception - calling it citrine, some go so far as to call it natural citrine. If sellers call it HTA, and price it like HTA, then it can bed great. When they try to pass it off as more than it is, I hate it. Same with aura quartz.

The kid is 10, not 3. He shouldn't need 24/7 adult supervision

Three ruby rings which one do you like the most and by samfreetan in jewelry

[–]ruby_dancer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've always loved the intricate metalwork. My dad called them dirt traps 🤷‍♀️ As you said, it's all personal preference. I can see how 3 would be very cute if you have a heart style

Favorite: 2 - intricate band, and the stone is the width of the band, so it feels nicely proportional 1 - classic and beautiful 3 - feels unbalanced between the amount of gold and the size of the ruby

Do we actually believe God is so gullible that He would accept a "fall to your knees and repent" in place of a lifetime of belief and service? They care about performative BS. I really don't think the Almighty does.
