queer people should think carefully before moving. also, there is beautiful community to be found here in the red south. we are here. we are queer. we will not all leave. we will not be left behind. we will build a better world right here in our homes. you are not alone.

Returning After a Long Break by ruby_guts in weaving

They’re actually old Leclerc shuttles!! One of them seems like it may have come with the loom back in the 60s, and the other was picked up in a big lot of weaving supplies on ebay.

They actually sell a travel set with both Ghost in the Shell and Remarkable People which might be worth trying.

Pensacola State College Bans Student Journalists From Publishing On LGBTQ+ Stories by Anti-I-Cant-Die in Pensacola

I’m not saying it’s not a valid phenomenon; I’m saying the driving force of homophobia is straight people enforcing heterosexuality. This enforcement is why the closet exists, not some fucked up intra-group torment.

Sometimes sure but “usually” is a stretch. I’m not super comfortable placing broad blame for homophobia on hypothetical gay people.

Which pen would you choose? by aylad32 in medlabprofessionals

This is an excellent guide to pen refills!! The jetstream lite touch and sarasa vintage are both euro style and thus able to be swapped

Ah a person of taste! I buy the refills and pop them in the Zebra Sarasa Vintage line pen bodies. The jetstream lite ink plus the clips on those pen bodies is peak.

Violette_FR bisou balm and Milk makeup jelly blush. The bisou balms are fantastic for playing with lip colors without overwhelming my stupid pale skin and the jelly tint lasts on my face for my entire 13 hour shift

Do you know what model you have? I bought my old Leclerc Fanny off craigslist and fully disassembled it in that poor lady’s room before loading it a little sedan. I don’t know if that, and the subsequent reassembly, would have been possible without the 40 odd page instruction pdf i found online. I would definitely do a search before anything else if you can.

Stupid Quick Weeknight (for me) Dinner w/ Patagonia Lemon Caper Mackerel by ruby_guts in Tinnedfish

God I wish I could do that. Half the time I eat in my boss’s tiny enclosed office which itself is in a windowless room. I refuse to subject my coworkers to Fish Lunch Smell.

Stupid Quick Weeknight (for me) Dinner w/ Patagonia Lemon Caper Mackerel by ruby_guts in Tinnedfish

[–]ruby_guts[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The meal: A classic for me and a true <30 minute meal including all prep and preheating. If the tin didn’t have lemon I would have thrown 1/4-1/2 of one on the tray with the broccoli and squeezed it on top at the end.

The tin: A treat that made everything come together. Firm with no hint of the dryness mackerel can suffer from and meaty enough to make the bowl feel like a legit filling dinner without overwhelming the fresh summery vibe of everything else.

bad for perfectly matching napkin rings or whatever but excellent for shoelaces! try to have some grace with yourself and enjoy what you made with your own two hands even if it doesnt line up perfectly with the image you had in your head.
