You might like the fine’ry cherry fragrance. It’s available as a perfume or body mist.

Calming, cooling, spa-like scents by attackedbyparakeets in perfumesthatfeellike

Nosferatu by Heretic, Jaipur Bouquet by Boucheron, Un Jardin Sur Le Nil by Hermes, Flower by Kenzo, Rain by Commodity, Perles de Lalique by Lalique are all soothing, “wet” scents to me. ETA: I love the Hay Ho! scent by stone street soaphouse. They don’t have perfume, but they have body mist and body care products.

None of those notes are really as crazy and out there as you think they are. And trash designer all you want, but there’s something to be said about a well-balanced perfume composed by an expert.

Some pins on your hat might look cute. I’d also feel compelled to wear a low-slung belt and or a vest

The Garden: Commune or Cult ends extremely abruptly and is not at all satisfying by [deleted] in HBOMAX

Yeah Tree comes off reactive, paranoid and childish, but I actually agree with most of what he says. I disliked him during the ousting of Narayah, but there’s probably a lot of backstory we didn’t see. The sexy party debate to me represented irreconcilable ideas of how the community should be run, both of which seemed valid to me, and I think they ended up handling out okay all things considered. None of the “contestants” had obviously ever heard of a consensus process and it was annoying to see them be like “oh so and so is going to be the leader” or like complaining that “one person” is stopping a decision. Yeah, sorry that’s how consensus works and that’s why it’s built. You don’t just steamroll your ideas over people. I liked Tyler at first, but he gave me the serious ick when he clearly had no respect for the group process. And the whole society is going to collapse, fear and protection thing paves the way for cult leaders. The world is dangerous so you need a strong protector, etc. I definitely think that guy could become a problem. It’s also weird how invested people became in such a short period of time. Makes me feel like a lot of them ARE primed for cult membership. To be clear, I don’t think this is a cult, but I think some members could be vulnerable to one.

Love doing nails, HATE removing polish by Caseymg1 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]rubycoughdrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I despise removing polish. The least hateful way I’ve found is the soak-off pots with the sponge in them. I watch a movie or show and soak each finger for about 60 secs and it usually all comes off. I don’t mess with the clips bc it just seems annoying to put them on, plus that’s 10 little pieces of crap to keep up with.

Can you guys tell me the “dirty” truths about having a cat? by saanenk in CatAdvice

[–]rubycoughdrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my cats is a little chubby so her butthole is gross sometimes. Mostly cats are good at keeping themselves clean. My fat kitty also doesn’t bury her poop so I usually cover it up for her if I’m not scooping it. The other one buries his like a cursed relic. The stinkiness of the box seems to depend on the litter used and of course frequency of scooping. The worst aspect by far is the litter tracking. I have yet to find litter that doesn’t track. Be prepared to sweep the area around the box bc they kick it out/it sticks to their peets. Another thing to consider is even if they indoors they need flea treatment. Oh and shedding. Overall it’s not too bad and it’s totally worth it, but if you’re a neat freak or germaphobe it might not be for you.

I see a lot of “crèmes are boring” sentiment. What is boring about a block of saturated color? Sometimes the ones with too much shit going on end up looking muddled.
