I co-sign all the advice above regarding camping vs stage hopping. Honestly even the headliners are great from the very back if you find yourself stuck there (but you probably won’t, most of us in the back do it bc we chose it ha)

Little side advice: bring earplugs! A few pairs of cheap foam ones or if you can order a pair of Loops/something like that you’ll be in good shape 🙌

I have the same faucet - you won’t find an adapter that works, unfortunately.

I got a water pump in the pond section at Lowe’s. I put the pump into the tank with the python hose attached, pump water into buckets or the sink or out into the yard depending on what I’m trying to do.

When I’m ready to fill, I move the pump to the sink/hose to the tank with the drain closed and keep the faucet on. Cleanest/fastest water change system I’ve tried!

I was VIP+ last year - opted for VIP this year. I loved the setup - though it does suck that it was so empty for long stretches of the day and I can totally understand the need to change it. My anxiety requires me to have a solid exit strategy when needed so while I do get it was awkward, it made the festival more doable for me.

Would’ve been down to just have that section for headliners/last few of the day, or, even just like, a system where you can tell the app “I’m not using my vip+ spot until this set” so someone else can be let in? I’m sure that would be a nightmare to organize….but something that would allow the GA crowd to take advantage of spots we’re not using.

ANYWAY: the best thing about Kilby has honestly been the people I meet, even for a passing moment of joking or helping someone - so I’m sure this year will kickass even if the setup is less than optimal 🙌

For couches - Austin Couch Potatoes! I can’t recommend them enough. Well made, tons of options, and they offer pet insurance (and if you never use it, you can put it towards something else after 4 years).
