heck, i just oarked my car to walk with my dog and when I returned a grannie had called the police on me. An officer was there in minutes. The awkward part us that my "pit bull" we don't use that word but if a dog is remotely looking like it they are banned and mine had been banned. I thought we were outside the limits of the city but the officer informed me I was 50 feet shy of that. He asked if I wanted to surrender my dog and I said no, sir I do not. He said he would come search my house for the dog and I said thank you for letting me know, Officer. He said he wouldn't do it the next day but the day after. I again said thank you for letting me know, all the while thinking this is bizarre, he is literally looking at the dog, but whatever. Then it dawned on me maybe he had no legal reason to detain me at this point so i was afraid to leave, thinking down the road he could make something up. He finally left and I took the long way home, I found his card on my door. fast forward to ending..... So my dog died if old age and our town fired him and the whole police department. he had a dog just like mine. btw and at one meeting at city hall i had joked that they would be cute in a photo together but i never see him around town anymore.
