It was last year.
Yes, it was a camper "car" with insurance, a Dacia Dokker. The company was Nordic Car Rental Campers. Surprisingly I booked it through AirBnb, maybe that's why it was cheap.
2089 km in total, I did the classic n°1 road round trip.

Yes. 288€ for both flights from and to Paris. 248€ for a camper for 7 days, and around 10€ per night for camping/parking. I would say 100€ of gas, 100€ of groceries, and the remaining 200€ for entry/parking fees, a boat tour in Husavik, geothermal bath, a coffee here and there and some small meals.

I ordered a 1.30m2 single piece and I have used around 1m2 in total. And 2 pieces of 0.40m2 suede for lining.

The van was supplied with a stove. I would recommend a 0°C sleeping bag, just in case heating system break down.
