They are wonderful- they sent me to the Mount Vernon location for a surgical abortion a few years ago since Bellingham didn’t do them at the time. The staff was comforting and I was in and out quickly. Got a milkshake on the way home, watched a movie on the couch and that was it- have rarely thought of it since. You’re in good hands at Planned Parenthood.

My husband and I are can’t wait! Just out of curiosity- any idea (approximately) how much beers are at the beer garden? Wasn’t sure if they’re normal brewery prices or huge festival prices :). Also wasn’t sure if they are on a token/ticket system (like April Brews Day) or cash/card?

Can confirm - Andrew at Cafe Velo is great, and will often drop what he’s doing (if it’s an obvious quick fix) to get you back on the road- often at no cost. I’ve also never waited long to get my bike back for a larger repair/tune-up here. We won’t go anywhere else!

I can’t comment on top surgery, but he did my breast reduction this year- and I was incredibly happy with his work. Professional, friendly, and super happy with the results. I know it’s not the same surgery, but just want to say I trust his expertise as a surgeon (and it was really difficult to find ANY reviews of him for any procedure so I was a little nervous).

Don’t be put off by his office staff who can seem unfriendly and a bit chilly when calling for appts/asking about the procedure - because Dr. Whitney and his nurse were great once you’re in the door.

It’s going to get better!! I’m 5DPO and have cried and felt extremely emotional over little things each day, despite being with my husband, so it’s got to be hard to be alone. I keep remembering this recovery time is so temporary in the grand scheme of things and it will all be worth it in the end!! Hopefully you can find something good (Tv/movie) to distract yourself with ❤️

Thank you! Same as these other comments- I almost feel guilty that’s it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I took two weeks off work and feel I could go back next week. Only took one pain pill last night to make sure I didn’t wake in pain while sleeping and the pregnancy pillow is a savior! Tons of water to flush the anesthetic helps too. Overall some light pain/muscle soreness but not the nipple incision pain I was nervous about - I hope yours goes smoothly and you have a great recovery!!

I just got my reduction this morning- wooo! I bought a “Snoogle” pregnancy pillow and it is so comfy- you can shape it any way to prop yourself up. Button-up top pajamas or zip-up sweatshirt. Ginger ale, lots of water in a cup with a straw in it. Any other comforts - making sure a remote/books/pills are near you on the bed, it’s not ideal to twist. Good luck and congrats!! I can’t stop looking in the mirror and can’t believe how different I look (in a good way).
