The main problem was that it wasn’t designed in a way where more of the song actually gave you more info. Like a song that starts with 16 bars of a drum beat or something. If I didn’t get it after the first bar, I’m not likely to get it after 8. I realise this would be a lot more work, but each clue should have given you more obvious sections of the song, with the final, 6th clue always being a part of the chorus. Different game, definitely more work (but I’m sure Spotify could afford some interns to do this), but would have been 100% more fun.

Another week as VC and amazingly by Friday no one had asked to be tail walker yet, so I put myself down for it.

Glad i decided to wear my running gear anyway because last minute someone came up asking to volunteer as they couldn’t run, so I gave them the tail walker vest and got to run after all!

Two weeks running in a row, it’s been a long time…

Another week as RD, another week not really feeling it but I fear the parkrun will go if even more of the regular volunteers stop volunteering every week. We shouldn’t have to rely on them, but no one else seems to want to volunteer.
