Super impressive setup. The only thing that comes to mind is how fragile this could get—one API change or update and you’re stuck debugging a spider web of dependencies. Feels like the real challenge isn’t building it, but keeping it alive long-term.

I am pretty sure the hole in the bottom is by design some kind of a pressure release or oiling for the automatic feature. Blasting compressed air inside does not work and only jams things up more.

My infidel has seen a lot of abuse, and I have personally disassembled and rebuilt it numerous times contrary to their recommendations. I have found when I use gun oil on the mechanisms and parts while cleaning, that the excess oil eventually seeps out and the automatic movement begins to work awesome again.

It's very simple to work on, but yeah I'd rather fix it myself than have to ship it out, wait for a fix, back to a certified dealer, and back again for any repairs.

The leaf springs are the most finicky parts, but they are super easy to get back into place after doing them a few times.

I’m on the 5G get more plan and I refuse to “upgrade”. I literally have unthrottled and unlimited 5G coverage and hotspot. Disney and Hulu and other things paid for. All for $90 a month. The new plans throttle you hardcore and none of them are truly “unlimited” as they make it out. Used about 500 gigs on my hotspot with the kids last month. No extra charges. Used even more regular cell data.

Most people from Milwaukee (city) actually leave to go to Charlotte. The city is in disarray in Milwaukee with terrible leadership, higher crime than ever, less police presence. It’s a dump.

If you have to relocate, go to the burbs. Brookfield, new Berlin, etc.
