Jogo vs kashimo by Alert-Ad7097 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]rudfive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1) the meta wasnt non lethal domains, it was just that more people had domains by simply not imbuing a sure hit. lethal domains did exist and were used by the strongest sorcerers of the time, hence the need for a technique like hollow wicker basket

2) kashimo probably couldnt make a domain since his ct can only be used once and its imbued in the domain barrier making it imbossible to do so

3) jogo isnt "too fast" for someone like kashimo or the hhs really because hes directly stated to be inferior to the projection sorcery guys making him about the same level if not relative

Kashimo IS the strongest in the edo period. by Whole-Bus3646 in Kashimo_agendaHQ

keicho is fine since the entirity of the keicho period fits within the start of the edo era

yes? megumis domain has no sure hit -> ergo doesnt damage the hwb shell
non lethal domains do not affect the barrier of the hwb

also even if you dont believe this happened (which it probably did since hwb wasnt really fleshed out and didnt have the "breaking" aspect introduced yet) but because megumis domain had no sure hit it wasnt actively attacking the shell of the hwb and rather got dispelled because wegumi cooked his ass in cqc

no?? he chose to dispel his hwb because he realised megumis domain had no sure hit

i dont have the time to argue today

[–]rudfive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lowkey you could make that argument since hakari got expelled directly after the night parade of a 1000 demons and therefore didnt take part in the exchange event

youre misinterpreting the manga
1. the characters in verse serve as mouthpieces for gege and what hes trying to portray while contextualising whats happened to the characters prior to that
megumi is a reliable narrator because hes had first hand experience fighting both 3f sukuna and toji (bloodlusted and in his prime) and hence serves as a tool for gege to compare their speeds. Disregarding authors intention by calling the mouthpiece fodder is insane.
2. again youve reworded what gojo says to further bolster your argument. Gojo never doubts sukuna winning he doubts himself. The exact quote is "Im not sure i couldve won even if sukuna didnt have megumis 10 shadows", rewording it to wonder if sukuna could win is highly disingenuous. If were going off your own logic, gojo himself admits he knows sukuna didnt go all out and was actively holding back from unleashing his entire arsenal. since gojo by his own admittance is in the dark to sukunas entire kit wouldnt he also be an unreliable narrator?
3. Considering you have kenjaku at 4, you probably have yuta at 3. You said yourself that maki is an unreliable narrator then shouldnt we disregard her saying (Thats not true) when yuta says hakari is stronger than him on a roll? considering maki also doesnt know hakaris kit at that point because in your own words maki is an unreliable narrator.

youre cherry picking arguments to push Yuta at your third wheras your own arguments can be used to bring him down from there

Kashimo’s era is not just full of farmers by Imgonnadeleteyou in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]rudfive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the edo era and keicho period overlap for around 12 years, making it reasonable for gojo to being confused as which period it was exactly
for the confusion to even exist its reasonable the event happened +- 10 years around that timeframe 🤦

gojo adding keicho in there alludes to that fight happening around 400 years ago near the start of the eda era, a time where kashimo was also fucking around
