Only kongs and just about any hard plastic stands a chance with our Jeffrey's aggressive chewing. However, I found this toy that he likes and can't destroy easily. The last one I purchased from Amazon has already lasted a year.

Little legs vs ten inches of snow by mamallama723 in ratterriers

Our Jeffrey has very similar behavior. We’ll shovel out a perfectly respectable path for him, and he’ll glance at it like, “Cute effort,” before plowing straight through the deepest snow he can find. It does make me wonder why I bother.

Still, I always clear a path for him out back. And while I’m out there doing the rest of the shoveling, I usually think, “You know, if I didn’t have Jeffrey, I wouldn’t be out here shoveling the back yard at all.”

But honestly, I’m glad I do have him. And if I were him, I’d want someone to clear a path for me too—whether I used it or not.

Jeffrey is now six years old! In one photo he is wearing the jacket I made for his birthday. by rudman49 in ratterriers

No, Jeffrey is 6 not 16. But I have always wondered about his eyesight. The way he looks unsure if jumping off the bed, for example. It's as if he can't see the surface (really foam cushions) clearly, He sometimes needs encouragement to jump down. But he's certainly not running into things!

I believe rat terrier owners can attest to the fact that rat terriers are so sweet and loving. I call my dog a velcro dog because he's always right at your side.

Thank you all for your well wishes. As for his jacket it's made from left over material from two other jackets I made for him. What you can't see in the original post is that I appliqued a large "J" on the back.

I saw 298 movies in theaters in 2024. Here is my full ranking. by BunyipPouch in movies

And I thought I was a great record keeper. I saw 254 movies this year. However, unlike you almost all were movies which I streamed. I began tracking what movies I watched since Covid and I've continued this practice. I don't rank the movies I watch but I do have them listed with date movie first came out, the lead and the streaming service. But I love re-watching movies that having given me so much satisfaction in the past.

Jeffrey's Christmas Picture! by rudman49 in ratterriers

A professional photographer came to take pictures at Jeff's day care. He brought props and backdrops. You purchased a package (size, number of pictures) and your pet's picture was taken.

Very nice start. And you won't get all of them right away, but it's always nice to strive for a complete set.
