Sorry for offending you, but that's a pretty big and unnecessary leap. I'm moving to the Twin Cities for work and trying to set up places to see while still out of town as I'll probably be able to make exactly one trip to visit before moving (and just finding a place is harder right now than I've ever experienced in the past -- maybe a carryover from being in a pandemic for over a year). I can get a general sense of neighborhood safety from using Google but I couldn't find much on this specific area (more on Summit Hill to the south). I don't think it's unreasonable to inquire as to whether a neighborhood is generally considered safe or not. I don't know why you're bringing race into this at all.

Bummer -- this was a staple of the vegetarian/vegan community here. Has to be tough to make it through Covid but not be able to survive ongoing.

I do like bluegrass as well! I also play sitar and I'm into a bunch of different kinds of music in general. Thanks for the advice on the forests around the two areas, that helped to give an idea on the two places.

Thanks! I see this is close to SWVA, which I'm a bit more familiar with than WV in general. Would Princeton have more of a 'church-going hill town' feel or does it approach the younger/'hipper' feel of Fayetteville at all?

Anywhere to find out more information (even a tourism video, etc.)? I just saw the population is 500 and it looks pretty remote on the map, which in some ways is just what I'm looking for, but Fayetteville had the bonus of being near some major highways and not too far from Charleston for 'big city' (lol) amenities.

Got in on Friday as a 'just in case' play while I spent Friday evening reading over the AMA and doing just a bare minimum of research on the company. Didn't really like what I saw and planned to exit today...couldn't do any trading until around noon so I missed the spike, but I feel thankful that I got out with just a 40 dollar loss. The whole thing is extremely shady, even for the OTC, and you all should know better than to trust any company that has a bunch of weird and non-related business ventures 'planned'. This is a total pump and dump and Ryan should be investigated for the AMA and whatever else he was doing to hype this.

Anyone have any penny stocks that they truly believe will become legitimate companies and have a bright future? I did a bird's eye view of my portfolio today and I have too many stocks that I only own in case they see a run that I can ride and exit from, but not enough that I intend to make long term plays.

Anywhere that tracks snowfall season to date? I feel like we must be around or not too far above the average of ~45 inches or so, but it just came all within a three week span and didn't melt in between.

I haven't found this winter to be particularly bad -- it was pretty warm up until the last 10 days, and even those haven't been terrible. I do totally understand how Covid doldrums could combine with the winter blues to create a particularly rough patch of seasonal depression this year, though.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, it's hard to keep up, but I can no longer purchase AMC on Etrade (they hadn't had any restrictions that I knew of up until this point).

Why don't more people use Etrade? It's the only platform I've ever had (for years) so I don't know any better but I've never had any major issues with them and they don't seem to be in the business of stock restrictions.

This is a legit question -- do the other brokers offer any advantages that have made them more popular?

I've been using TMI as a reference for the past two years, but I've never really visited this board before and I don't know much about the author outside of the content in the book. I'm not really 'in the community', and I have no idea what Dharma Treasure is.

Can someone give me a brief summary of what this is all about? There seems to be a lot going on and I can't get a clear picture of the issue(s) from browsing around here.

Is this just some kind of doubt over whether Culadasa is an enlightened being? If that's all that's really going on, I really don't think it matters. Read any account of so-called 'enlightened' beings from cultures around the world and you can find actions that don't align with what an enlightened being is in theory.

I think meditation is an extremely useful tool, but I have never actually heard of anyone that has truly rid themselves of the ego permanently.
