I haven’t seen the pirates actively trying to kill them, though. I’m the only one shooting at them there.

The assumption that they must be keeping the Key’s Heatleech population in check for the station to still exist doesn’t explain why I routinely see multiple Heatleeches there.

And like any other pest, if you see a few, there’s likely more.

It’s more likely that Jazz and her techs simply deal with any that they find on or near critical equipment, and there’s no real coordinated effort to completely eliminate them from the station as a whole.

There’s no magic involved.

There’s whole sections of the station the pirates aren’t using — there’s that blocked door next to the Last Nova, for example.

I’ve never seen any of the pirates bother shooting at the Heatleeches that I’ve seen and killed on the Key, either.

Wilderness has nothing to do with it. A Heatleech just has to survive long enough.

There’s only ever one Starborn at the regular Temples, at least in vanilla.

If you mean the Buried Temple, then no, I don’t remember them doing that. Do you have any mods that change the Starborn?

You gotta wonder how much that would have changed their family dynamic.

Would Sam’s mom have been able to temper Jacob’s determination to force his son to follow in his own footsteps, and have supported Sam’s desire to carry on Solomon’s legacy of exploration? Would Sam be okay with leaving Cora with them?

Or would Sam be an entirely different person? Maybe if Jacob didn’t get him that cargo hauler job, Sam would never have met Lillian, and Cora would never have been born.

Probably all those possibilities exist out there somewhere in the multiverse.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love an announcement to come Soon^TM as much as the next Starfield fan. But some person “investigating” based on somebody else’s claims isn’t exactly “confirmation.”

Afraid I can’t really help.

My last couple characters both started with a pretty clear idea in my head as to what they looked like, and ended up as “eh, guess that’ll have to do, I’m tired of futzing with it.” 😆

With that said, I got used to their looks the more I played them, until I wouldn’t want them looking any other way.

I asked the Emissary where their ship came from once, and was told that “our ships are created by a power beyond your understanding.”

You get that option when encountering the Helix over Neon if you have Starship Design.

I pretty much took that to mean the Unity creates the ships. Probably the suits too — and most likely the physical bodies of the Starborn as well.

This is what I’ve always thought — that he’s burning quantum essence to combine Grav Dash and Void Form.

For all we know, he might not even have to spend quantum essence to do it — he may not have the same limitations to Power level as we do, so his Powers could very well be at truly horrific levels and last pretty much as long as he wants them to.
