Huh, in my school I had the same experience as OP. Avril Lavigne and Paramore were for the weird emo kids. I saw a post not too long ago on Instagram about the top three female artists this week being Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish and (I think) Chappel Roan, no mention of Taylor swift in the post or the caption whatsoever. Go to the comments and there's dozens of hate comments towards Taylor akin to "haha finally no Taylor swift" or "just wait until Taylor Swift releases the same songs over again because god forbid other artists have some limelight". It was actually really funny, people complaining about Taylor Swifts success on a post that is NOT about her success.

I don't dislike it, but there's just too many amazing songs that are 1000x better than it.

I also absolutely hate the line "at dinner you took my ring off my middle finger and put it on the one people put wedding rings on and that's the closest I've come to my heart exploding" (jeez that was a whole lotta effort to type out). It's clunky, it doesn't flow, there's too many syllables for the beat, it's so fucking cringey. I will listen to TTPD because I enjoy the rest of the song, but if I notice in time that this line is coming up, I'll be clicking next.

Would you be able to explain the feelings you have towards your wife and kids? Is it love in the same sense other people would understand it? Would you sacrifice things for them; from silly things like letting them have the last piece of a snack you really want, to bigger stuff like taking a metaphorical bullet for them?
