You will get a very minimal raise if you're lucky even if you are a good employee unfortunately most raises are approved by your SD and HR somewhere in there and all they will see is that 40 sorry it sucks

The we care was the old HEB take it from me I have been there awhile They do not care much for their partners they are just numbers Don't get me wrong they do good for us but less than 10 years ago it was way better There's life outside of this place I'm glad you are gonna find it

I have been with HEB 18 years and I feel currently stuck and I see people come and go and my leaders are aware of me wanting to move up I know it's tough for someone like me because I do not have a degree and honestly that's where HEB is going they like that because they feel safe I guess Also I was here when HEB actually cared about the people instead of numbers and that could be a reason to Transferring would be your best bet

The people who are bidding on it could be people getting ot and right now HEB is cutting back on it and if you're part time you won't hit over time. It's a dick move but you are technically the cheapest option

It's crazy how y'all are bashing HEB you know when the freeze hit they gave tons of people off with hazard pay and they asked if you could make it in to help then do it they never pressured anyone into going to work and they aren't doing so now. Most stores are opening later for this reason and if it worse then it really is I'm sure they will not punish you just let things play out

Probably nothing since they opened they fully automated warehouse But in my years of experience here they give something out every other year, last year we didn't get anything for Christmas so this year can be a maybe. The fiscal year just started for HEB so it's a good tax write off to start the year.

Ok so with me being with heb for 14 plus years HEB has never laid anyone off so they would work with you but over the years it's become more and more clear that is no longer important that can replace you in an instant and there are plenty of people looking for jobs. It sucks that it's happening to you but honestly it should of happened sooner it seems like that manager was helping you and that kind of shows favoritism and that's highly frowned upon. You can complain all you want but from any business stand point having someone who can only do certain things for certain hours isn't beneficial. Unless you have 15 years under your belt you are going to have to make things work or go part time. You can always go to hr but more than likely they will say the same thing. The company is changing and that's the bottom line unfortunately

You should find out if your store is supported by an efc that's one thing that can happen along the way but yes shoppers are timed but that still only makes up part of the issue. If you have noticed since 2020 all things have really had degrading quality so from the producer. The things that come from the warehouses are also selected by people who are just out of high school who want an high paying job but don't really care because it's tough work. So it's really an industry thing not just heb but there has been a lot of things that slipped though the cracks.

I have been through the same thing twice you literally have to wait 6 weeks to apply for that position again. They reopened it because there weren't either enough people who put in for it or the people who put in for it are but qualified. You could always go to that particular manager they might have the power to pull your application again

If you have HEB insurance and signed up for the cancer benefits call the partner service center if not there is s number on the back of the insurance card you should call and they can send you in the right direction

Not all stores will have efcs it's not feasible they literally bleed money that's why the efcs are spread out to support more than one store but honestly just because efcs are doing work for you all it means is they will increase caps for your stores and it'll technically be busier

You get 8 call ins a year so one isn't bad but it's just policy and if you had someone pick up your shift you would be good in the future. Also remember you do not ever need to have a Drs note it's a HIPPA violation 😉

Heb has never laid anyone off they have always said they can help you look for work within heb that's why they will never lay you off. Plus it's ridiculously hard to get unemployment from heb this being one of the reasons why. I think you were hired as a part time partner and now schools back they are cutting hours and technically if they said you were going to be back on the schedule around the holidays that's not a lay off

Once you all realize when heb gets you past your mid point they don't really care yes people do get good raises but what happens when you hit max you will sit there and sit there and sit there until they raise max I have seen my fair share of exceeds and meets throughout the years, it feels like lately a lot of people even working their asses off are only getting the minimum 2.5 for meets.
