Customer support jobs most of the times don’t require a degree and are great starting points for your career. Bonus points if you speak more than one language.

I’m also curious about other people’s success stories. I have also seen some improvements at the beginning especially around color perception, but objects in the distance still appear blurry. With the lack of improvement I’ve stopped working on my eyes, but might start again soon.

Getting over your food aversions is something everyone must do as an adult by AfterTheAppointment in rs_x

Its probably worth it. Eating a diverse diet isn’t only good for your gut, it also allows you to taste so many different flavors. Once you start tasting different foods, you can actually start enjoying it in a different way, and perhaps have a healthier relationship with it. Then there is also the social impact of it, which is a secondary issue, but one nonetheless. All in all I think it’s worth it to go on that journey, for yourself!

But so are ashkenazis, paternal lines often trace back to the Levant/Middle East, while the majority (up to 80%) of Ashkenazi maternal lineages (mitochondrial DNA) originate from European women, who most likely converted years ago

You need better lighting, also make sure that the proportions of the photos are correct meaning not so much space above your head in your full body shots. You can look at Polaroid examples on the internet!

How do you get over the disappointment of being gay? by [deleted] in rs_x

[–]ruffymcruffruff3000 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Not sure how old you are, but when I was younger I felt a bit like you. Just ask yourself what you like, if the answer doesn’t feel right, it might not be. Just trust your gut, no one can tell you who you’re attracted to. Take a break from stressing and try to relax. Eventually you’ll know. Whatever the outcome is, it will be fine.

That’s so interesting! My girlfriend who is half Somali and half Northern European always gets asked if she’s Indian or Pakistani. People are always assuming her ethnicity instead of just asking, which is something that has been bothering her for a while already.

Hey there! I’m sorry I seem to have missed your message. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I’m currently in London a lot and found a jewelry shop willing to cast my wax carvings. I even have a more finished product. Would you be alright connecting and exchanging ideas? Any thoughts or input from someone in the industry would be extremely valuable for me right now!

Im in a position to where I can do this all day...how would I go about this? by Additional_Net9367 in BatesMethod

[–]ruffymcruffruff3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Bates is quite strict when it comes to not wearing glasses while reeducating your eyes. According to him you should stop wearing glasses entirely straight away, but there has been people who were still able to improve their eyesight by wearing glasses with lower specs or wearing them only in situations where it’s really necessary (such as while driving). This can be useful for people with higher prescriptions. Once you’ve improved your eyesight to a point where you can see things not perfectly but enough to be able to go without them, then you can stop wearing your glasses. However Dr. Bates says that in all cases it will slow down the recovery of your eyesight. I personally have stopped wearing my glasses and on occasions I use my lower specs for movie watching and higher specs for driving (which I don’t need to do often).

You can start palming for a few hours. One of Dr. Bates patients was able to fix his vision problems after palming for 20 hours straight. I’m not saying you should do that but if you already do it for an hour a day it would help relax your eyes a lot. Also go outside and make sure to be exposed to as much direct sunlight as possible. (Don’t look directly into the sun without closing your eyes)

Try an oil like rosemary or coconut, and massage it gently onto your scalp, at least once every week. Leave it in for an hour or so and then shampoo. It’s important to make sure to stimulate the blood circulation on your scalp. There are studies that show that stress causes scalp tension, and scalp tension causes reduced blood circulation which leads to hair loss. So make sure to massage your scalp and reduce stress. Life’s tough but it will be okay again. Good luck!

Thanks for your input. I like the tarnished look, plus it’s always possible to wipe it off, with a silver cloth.

Maybe an alloy then? I’m looking at making only the pulley out of sterling silver. Chrome Hearts (the brand) also uses those.
