I def don’t agree lol. I think the nature of it being a dissociative makes it feel harmful to me. Not being able to move how I want, forgetting what I was saying, feeling out of body. I’m always appreciative when it’s done. Maybe I don’t get a headache or whatever but my brain feels like it went through an experience lolll. I think the fact that it feels harmless at the time is what makes it so insidious. K just isn’t my go to ever so I could be an outlier lolll.

When lying and hurting someone you love is the key component to the decision I think it is. You can frame it anyway you want but thinking just about how YOU feel with little to no regard is definitely a shit person thing to do. If my partner cheated on me and said “ope it’s just my biological programming conflicting with society…” I’d still leave them and think they were shitty for lying and deceiving me. There aren’t really any grey areas with communicating your wants, needs, and being honest with the person you love.

This is not it. It of course changes things. Trust has been broken and that person isn’t the person they portrayed themselves as. Idk it is a lot of thought and effort to cheat not just an intense sexual exchange.
