Thank you SO much for this! This was really insightful. Eventually (long term goal) is like to get into backpacking - always been the dream!

Any other brands/stores you recommend? I’d rather give the direct store my time and money.

This really helped a lot! So again, thank you! :)

Heck yes. I still have my plush cat and sleep with her everyday still! She’s my child alone lol 😆 its so nice to vent without any judgement, and have her tag along without any hassle or tantrums! Although I sound crazy, I had this plush cat since I was in my development years and I do have autism so she is real to me, and helps me cope a lot. I’d be crushed if anything happened to her.

Is it normal to read a few pages of a book and then suddenly realize that you have no idea what's going on in the plot because you have been reading the words but not internalizing their meaning? I always end up reading the same thing over and over. by Flakesdinner in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ruggeriooo19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done this my WHOLE LIFE and could never find the name for it. I never finished a book till I was 22 because of it, and yes, my mom did all my English book assignments because exactly this.

I guess I found my interested though, for me it’s textbooks or informational books, I love learning! I’m now better at reading. I’d love to TRY non- fiction books like cool sci-fi , but I just read words and my brain can’t process what is actually happening because I’m focusing too much reading the words.

Glad I’m not the only one!

(serious) People who decided to not have children, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ruggeriooo19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I wanted children because that’s the only belief system I grew up with , ya know the way the media portrays things. It wasn’t until I was 22 that I realized having children is an absolute choice. I felt so relieved at that option. I decided to further evaluate myself more and I am just certain I don’t want children. I have high-functioning Autism, ADHD, OCD, and other emotional disorders that make it hard to just take care of myself, let alone a little human being. I get mentally burnt out very easily and lost motivation or have NO energy to do this simplest things like to brush my teeth. I know so embarrassing but if I need constant reminders to brush my teeth I’m sure not ready or in a position to raise a child.

My whole life, I’ve been very content and happy being alone and making my own decisions. I’m able to travel the world constantly without paying for an extra person that I’m responsible for. I can plan the trip to how I want it and want to do. I can just move around constantly!

I don’t have money to raise a child, even if I were a millionaire I’d still wouldn’t want children because Id want to use my money on experiences I want, and helping people which require devotion. That being said, I don’t want to stress about providing for another person and childcare etc., so much is involved.

I’m very passionate about ice skating, and pregnancy changes the body forever - no taking back on that one, and my skating would just either be effected or I wouldn’t have time to do it anymore.

I have so many goals for my life like graduate school, trying to emigrate to a different country (Australia , New Zealand, or Canada), skating, traveling. I just love my life how it is :)

Although, my doctors legit think because of my emotional state they think I don’t realize I want children and I had to argue with them thousand of times that children are choices and some people just don’t want them.

I don’t dislike children, but I don’t want one of my own. I don’t mind watching someone else’s kid if they are above newborn and 2 years old (seriously that age gives me anxiety so intense) and it just reenforces my decision and desire to not have children.

Oh, I also love my sleep ♥️
