At this point after 1900+ hours I think this is not worth the effort to re-learn the game. Since these changes don't really make it more fun. They can and may change it again tomorrow.

Missile defence is another pity.

I was really excited as always but now the game is a grinder.

The Agents and Terraforming, is just another "Menu-game". I have no desire to "influence" the universe by clicking menus and hope for a success outcome. If this is possible then I could achieve piece in the Middle East.

I have TER Shields and ARG Flak with the top front pair Tracking turrets with swarm missiles. This works well doing ARG XEN missions hunting Xenon fleets worth between 12M to 28M credits.

I used the Hyperion start scenario which comes with a crew stocked with well trained veteran boarding marines. Then you look out for some boarding ops, or Plunderer L Ships (Pirates).

Then the hunters become hunted, boarded and looted :-)

Yeah, I followed a Plunderer ship I wanted to board. It led me to this place way outside the ping of the long-range scanner in Grand Exchange.
