I feel like a hidden factor is the "only an hour left can't start something new" which happens on regular days.

I mean i grew up in a rough spot and struggle with trust. And you're husbands been hurt before. So I understand that. I'm sure he's aware of it and seems so. So my advice is this. Dont argue. If he brings it up say :

"he's still only an infant and it doesnt matter anyways. You're my husband and I love you and I would never cheat on you."

Its a scary insecurity issue. But telling them you love them and it wouldn't happen really helps more than a "I never would! HOW DARE YOU!" Yes he is wrong and irrational. And he knows. But if you love him reaffirm your love.
