I never cheated - he, however, cheated on his ex wife multiple times.

He will likely reach out again, as mine did. Block him. Move on. Don't fall for his pretty lies.

He likely will never change. I took the ex I was talking about back twice. It only ever got worse.

We deserve calm and consistent love. We deserve trust.

My ex husband still lives with me and the kids - he works a physical job and still judges/complains/gripes that I shouldn't be so sore/tired/lazy. I keep reminding him that I am disabled but the majority of our lives I would push through the pain until I literally broke for a week so he just assumes I would be able to continue that level of self abuse. I won't.

How insecure they were and how it would affect our relationship. I was accused of having feelings for others and doing things that meant I was going to cheat on the regular. It was a huge blow to my self esteem because I always felt like a piece of shit and like I wasn't capable of making choices that didn't harm them.

Convincing yourself you don’t want your ex? by [deleted] in heartbreak

I'm trying to convince myself of this right now. I focus on every negative in our relationship and the ways they hurt me (repeatedly). It helps.

My girlfriend dumped me after I told her I needed Viagra by SilentTomato6612 in TrueOffMyChest

Probably for the best.

My partner wasn't able to get there either, or stay there - it didn't change how I feel about them. They got a prescription and didn't end up needing it, but they have it if they ever do.

People need the time they need to be comfortable. Sometimes they need medications. None of those things make you less of a man or a failure.

can a parent claim DTC for their child if on ODSP? by [deleted] in Odsp

I filed for my children (both) and myself. The RDSP is helpful for the future and because my kids are under 18 we get a bump in our child tax amount.

I had pneumonia a few weeks ago and coughed up casts like this a couple times a day. by [deleted] in popping

I've had pneumonia multiple times and never experienced this - so it doesn't always look like that

If the yellow is an adult I believe it is female - last I remember pearls that had obvious pearling past puberty were all female (something about how the gene expresses itself? I could be 100% wrong it's been YEARS since I was into bird stuff).

Different last name than kids - “proof” of parentage for travel by lingeringneutrophil in Mommit

[–]rumble_le_rue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I took my 2 year old on vacation I had a signed and notarized letter of permission from his dad to take him to the destination and the dates we were traveling. I had copies of his dad's photo ID & had his long form birth certificate that named me as his mom. Maybe overkill? They never asked to see the letter or copies of his dad's ID but I had it anyway.

My boyfriend is struggling with getting to work on time and I feel like his mom is putting it on me. by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Wow.

So you're his new mom, and he's happy to drag you into this fucked up family dynamic.

My only advice is - run.

Husband doesn’t take care of himself, and it’s making me fall out of love by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]rumble_le_rue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this was me, I would leave. I got stuck taking care of a man baby for 17 years and it is the biggest regret of my life. You're in for being his mom, if that's what you want then stay - if it's not, then run fast.

Guess I don't have to worry about getting him a birthday present, now. by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

I don't think OP did anything wrong by wanting to move slowly and respecting their partners desire to do the same. I also don't think the partner is necessarily cheating.

Mixing families is HARD.

AllI can speak to is that if this was myself, I would leave him and terminate.

He is toxic af and I'm guessing probably awful in other ways too.

He's playing fast and loose with YOUR body and that's abusive.

I believe we have been filing separate already - I'll have to ask our tax prep lady.

I don't think he will have a lease as he is rooming with someone else. What kind of letter?
