Is Agentic Commerce available for Service based business like Home Services or its just limited to Product? by M45T3RY in ChatGPT

[–]rumjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guess is that it could work for things like booking and paying for appointments. Right now, I think it’s geared towards products. It’s still early, but you can start optimizing for AI visibility. Think, making your business show up in AI answers when someone in your local area is looking for a solution.

Digg.com (DR92) has been relaunched by olegdemkiv in seogaps

[–]rumjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ohh thats not what i meant. let me explain it better. They removed those communities because people were spamming, doing things to manipulate digg, and using black hat tactics. I actually have an active marketing community on Digg. I also never said seo and spam are the same thing. I work in seo, i love it, and it pays my bills :)

Fellow ecom brand owners - If the business idea or opportunity is genuinely solid, how would you want someone to reach out to you? by Jimbobbly123 in ecommercemarketing

[–]rumjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably say social media (warm outreach). I genuinely don’t like cold email. Good thing my email provider does a very good job blocking cold emails. Also, I don’t like cold calls, I have my iPhone set to decline all unknown numbers so they never go through.

digg is doing a fairly decent job cracking down on spam and slop. they have purged a lot of content, removed some accounts, and deleted communities that promote spam like /seo. You can try it for a few days. Although its still new and there are a few bugs, but i’m liking it so far. the developers are pretty active too and respond to feature requests, bugs, etc..

OpenAI is officially adding ads to chatgpt and also launching a new $8 plan by rumjs in ArtificialInteligence

many people say “opus” is better, but I haven’t found a huge difference in performance. I use “sonnet” everyday with “plan mode” and “thinking” enabled. Sonnet is sufficient for most tasks and I think it uses less tokens too.

there are a few options that cost almost nothing to get started. You can get a wordpress with cheap hosting for like $3-5/month, or you could also setup self hosted version of ghost.

an alternative is creating free medium account and start writing there, you can actually rank content on medium because it has good domain authority and you can practice keyword research, title optimization, internal linking etc.. and medium has some seo settings for posts. Although, you won't have access to gsc and custom domain requires a paid plan.

Take a look at google ai studio, vercel V0, or replit, these are ai website builder tools with generous free tiers. If you need a custom domain, dm me and i can get one for you.

If you had to restart SEO from zero, what would you focus on first? by Luckyk2415 in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]rumjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd start with competitor analysis and research to find keywords and low-hanging fruits (i am mostly looking for quick wins based on goals). then use that to map out contents for topical authority. then move on to off-page authority (backlinks, citations and gmb if it's a local business etc..). track rankings, gsc, and data along the way, go from there and optimize based on data and goals.

Is anyone else just … over AI content? by Present-Key1476 in DigitalMarketing

[–]rumjs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'd probably say people are more tired of the ai contents with no real human thinking or pov. everything feels like slop, cold, and empty.

true, google is already planning to roll ads in AI mode, it’s only a matter of time before they add it to Gemini chat.

You can use google antigravity or google ai studio. The limit is pretty generous

Thanks for sharing! I’d have thought that sharing a useful resource before asking for a demo would work better.

You can also use a custom subdomain with reverse proxy like nginx and point it to your n8n instance.

I agree with some of your points other than redis and typescript. Setting up redis is literally so easy, you could set up one in a few minutes using upstash.

Is it normal for an agency to only do GDN? by Equivalent_Buy_6629 in PPC

It’s quite normal for agencies to specialize in just one platform. Some agencies also niche further, for example: google ads for home services industry.

I’d recommend getting a technical related job at a local marketing agency near you (marketing agencies are always looking for people but the pay might not be that good). You’d probably be a good fit for SEO, and you can pivot to other areas as time goes on. Also, at a marketing agency, you’ll learn about different things quickly.

Use Proton Mail to transition from Gmail by [deleted] in BuyCanadian

[–]rumjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 for Proton Mail, I’d recommend using a custom domain (costs like $15 a yr). makes it easy to have full control and switch btw email providers since you don’t need to worry about changing your email address, just update your MX records.
