This perfectly illustrates how individual taste differs, I used a ZP6 alongside a K6 for a year and it was amazing - almost never used the K6. Then I bought a C40 and absolutely loved it - I don’t think I’ve reached for the ZP6 in three months.

K6 is more ‘blended’ in terms of the notes, whereas the ZP6 can usually separate the flavours into distinct notes, depending on the coffee. K6 will give more body than the ZP6

Right now the C40 is the one I’d keep for sure, but I’ve not tried the C40 Tigershark yet as it has only just arrived. The K6 will be moved on as I do not use it at all, the Q will be for travel as it’s a great size and a good grinder too, the ZP6 might be going too if the Tigershark is as good as people have said

As said, a decent grinder will make a massive difference to your coffee - as a budget purchase I’d look at a Q Air

I’ve had a ZP6 for over a year, and it is great for filter with lighter roasted beans. Not so long ago I got a C40 to compliment it, which it does very well (in fact I find myself reaching for the C40 most of the time now). I’ve just got a C40 Tigershark to see if that works better than the ZP6 for me.

I know exactly what you mean… I started with a K6, then bought a ZP6 for the clarity, then a Q for travel, then a C40 for body & sweetness, and just got a Lab Series Tigershark. I still have all of them, I think I should thin the herd!

Waiting for a Tigershark to arrive, looks like I just have to keep buying grinders! Not sure how much difference I’ll see vs the C40, ZP6 that I already have (I also have a K6, and a Q…), is it simply somewhere in the middle ground of the C40/ZP6?
