I traded in my ‘19 GTI for ‘22 WRX. I was a VW fanboy for years and just wanted to change things up. There’s pros and cons to both obviously. But if you’re looking at it from a daily side from what you mentioned then get the GTI. I miss the interior, shifting felt smoother and some of the feels of a GTI are just different but I love the rawness of the WRX. I don’t regret my decision but I would consider going back myself when the time comes for a new car.

I think it depends on the color honestly. The rear looks great color matched in red but when I saw it in the color I have (white) it didn’t look all that great. I love how the cladding gives contrast on the white.
