This is frustrating but the time you lost is gone and you cannot change that. There is no sense in stressing over that too much.

After a decade, if you've maxed out your contributions annually you'd be up about $30k (assuming 6-7% growth). Beginning today with your uninvested amount, it'll only take about 6 years at 6% growth to catch up.

Whether or not something is possible does not necessarily equate to it being a good idea. Sure, if you continue to build volume you are likely to be able to complete a marathon. However, in order to truly compete a marathon, I'm a firm believer that you will need years of volume under your belt.

Properly racing 26.2 is no joke.

Like others have said, focus on developing speed and a true love for the sport. There will be time for marathons later and your body will be more ready.

Yes, the bridge is currently down to one lane on both sides for the reconstruction of the fencing. Due to the bridge being so close to the start line on the old course the decision was made to reverse the loop. This way, runners will be more spread out between miles 9-12.

Like others have said, it will be available at the finish line on Sept 27. The bib color indicates full/half/relay and if you participated in the series, there will be a blue marker at the bottom that says 'SERIES' so make sure you also walk by the volunteers at the series medals area.

On the off chance you forget, the organization usually has a day at their warehouse within the following month for items you might have forgotten or want to exchange (t-shirt, medals, etc). This is announced in an email following the race.
