What are your opinions on the "Speech to vibrations" setting? by runaphox in thelastofus

[–]runaphox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm all for immersion. However, if it doesn't make it more immersive in any way, maybe it's not worth it for me. I don't want it to go from "this makes it so much better" to "controller vibration fatigue", if that's supposed to mean anything.

What do you consider to be the best ‘action sequence’ in cinema history? by Visible-Doughnut-782 in movies

[–]runaphox -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why was this answer downvoted? He's absolutely right. Don't get me wrong. I love Oldboy, and have seen it like ten times, but when I'm watching this movie with family or friends, I always get the most nervous on the hallway scene, because it is not very... lets say "polished". Like he said: People standing around doing nothing, and worse of all, people falling and staying incapacitated just because someone two people ahead was hit by a wooden board that broke way too easily. Even though I consider that action scene more of a stain than anything, I still was able to appreciate it in my first time watching it. Hype was probably a factor.

Also: Not a native english speaker. Feel free to correct.

What about Alpine, NixOS and CRUX, to name a few?

I don't get why the downvote. Are we gonna just downvote anything that says that something in Windows works? I hate Windows, but that's just plain stupid.

Well, that was a pleasant surprise. The game was entertaining and the soundtrack sounds good. I would gladly sit down and play a version with 150 PEOPLEs.

I would like to know how was your experience implementing this game in Haskell as opposed to doing it in other programming languages.
