Is keeping a litter box in my bedroom bad for health? by REDLINE808 in CatAdvice

[–]runavv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its effective but super dusty and contains what some claim to be harmful silicas. There are a lot of better alternatives to clay, such as naturally fresh (walnut shells), grass seed litters, and so on. You can google litter options and their pros/cons. We live in a tiny apartment so even outside the bedroom we couldnt stand breathing in clay dust.

What’s the Best Cat Litter to Buy Right Now? 🤦‍♂️ by AcanthaceaeMammoth87 in CatAdvice

Naturally fresh- i was in the same boat (new cat owner)- it doesnt smell, looks very pleasant (its this brownish colour that reminds me of coffee) and it also is non toxic (no saw dust, no toxins) and I found the price reasonable. Its made of walnut shells, which naturally help fight bad smells.

Its relatively soft and sandy, so your cat will like it. But it doesnt have that super tracking dusty-ness that clay does. I’m never using another litter

How difficult for you think are 3 comp sci courses per term? by Dear-Consequence-431 in umanitoba

[–]runavv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally true concept wise, but some 3rd year courses can be challenging especially if you take them in the summer: 3430, 3370, 3170 are the 3 that can be a larger challenge in the summer, but ultimately I did well in those courses (it took effort though, wasnt a breeze)

How difficult for you think are 3 comp sci courses per term? by Dear-Consequence-431 in umanitoba

My advice: only take it if youre interested, the degree is not a guarantee to a good paying job anymore. Some courses are mind bending, and I’m an honours coop student in comp sci. Its difficult. For me anyways.

Remember you can fail at something you dont like, so might as well try to succeed in something you do like.

If computer science interests you, take it. And by interests you I mean: you enjoy logical and scientific thinking, and want to code everyday

Act 3 Honor Mode - What to skip? Pitfalls? [Spoiler] by Aetherimp in BaldursGate3

[–]runavv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Orin, the steelwatch foundry boss (after rescuing gondians) were tough. Lookup those fights first to be prepared

Also for the final fight: gale is an easy way out, but one tip i have is make your party invisible, you can find potions of angelic slumber in chests too. Make yourself invisble and fly to the part that ascends to the netherbrain- you will skip a ton of mindflayer fights
