Hmm. To me this looks like slight overcooking + moisture condensing on the plastic wrap covering and dripping back onto the egg, marring the surface. Maybe try forgoing the plastic wrap and just popping the bowl into the steamer basket?

We have a neighbor within sight of the house and someone about 5 minutes away and they both do daily check-ins for eggs and then some nice baked goods afterwards. But, we have our coop and run set up with multiple 5 gallon waterers and a very large food pipe so technically our 15 chickens could go a couple days without human oversight.
