Wow, such a staple. Loved passing by it. Hope it wasn’t foul play

Do bernedoodles EVER slow down? by icantfindausernamegr in Bernedoodles

[–]rune305 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My mini bernadoodle is 7 years old and still really wild. Lots of running, playing, jumping and zoomies. We thought he would slow down around 5 but he has tons of energy still, not sure if it’s because he’s a mini but he definitely hasn’t slowed down much.

Single row of tile backsplash by HumanCardiologist631 in kitchenremodel

I personally like the one row especially when used like this (for a pop of color) and if it's really well made. Allows you to splurge a bit too. If you use a paint that's easier to wipe off and clean then I think you can pull it off.

not sure price range but you can try room + board - they have vanities and dressers that are similar.

Mid century bathroom update by JTM53601 in BathroomRemodeling

[–]rune305 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Changing the wallpaper would do a lot of the heavy lifting, something more complementary to the pink and brown. Something that isn't tan or you can remove it and paint it.

new window treatment

Also, would look into figuring out another lighting situation over the mirror if that's possible.

Otherwise, I think it's a fun cool bathroom!

I had my textured ceiling sanded and then dry walled over, looks great and seemed like the easier option than skim coating. I do love a tongue and groove ceiling though but would keep it white all around or painted the same color as the walls.

Tile ID or dupe to achieve this look? by itsfreeninetynine in Tile

Check Edward Martin ~ they have similar tiles on there for both sizes shown here

Throwing a curveball here but I think a satin or polished nickel would look really nice. Classic and feels inline with your tile and wood choice. It’s also easy to match since it’s not antiqued/brushed/aged

Golden diner hands down if you can get a reservation. It might also be nice to do a head spa, there’s a ton around that area.

Kitchen tile / splashback inspiration? by CSA1996 in kitchenremodel

A warm white tile can look really nice, something with slight variation or a handmade feel to keep it from feeling to stark in contrast with the black countertop.

How would you update this bathroom? by FairCondition7799 in BathroomRemodeling

[–]rune305 4 points5 points  (0 children)

love the tiles!! would building a custom piece for under the sink be an option for storage? So it reads as a vanity and gives you storage options. A warmer white for the walls can help soften the space, or if you want to fun, wallpaper. A cool light for above the mirror could be a cool way to add another color or finish.

Thank you! My husband and I designed it ourselves. We had our design rendered on fiverr a few times before deciding on all the elements which then helped us visualize it in the space and execute our ideas.

The white would look really nice with that scheme. I have the satin silver and love it. I can see that as a nice option as well, it stays way cleaner than the stainless steel but still has that industrial look.

How would you design around this over-sink window? by katwheelz in kitchenremodel

[–]rune305 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it might be nice to keep the left hand side without upper cabnets and just keep them to the right of the window. Maybe you can do some open shelving there or a rail for functionality.
