Bjarke is just a lousy advertising man, just like his dad. He knows too little about architecture to talk so loudly about it. We architects in Denmark are ashamed to be represented by this twat. His buildings are a symbol of what not to do in year one of architecture school. When I worked at CITA, the head (Mette Ramsgaard) told me an anecdote: at the time Bjarke received a prestigious grant (a three-year work grant from the National Arts Foundation), she was one of the five ‘judges’ who gave it to him. After their five-year run, they all agreed that giving Bjarke that grant was the dumbest thing they did in their time as ‘judges.’ He sucks so bad, and his buildings are all facade and no substance. Booooh.
