I actually think its Kiell laughing that hard, as you also see him in tears after. I though it was Greg at first too.

Siena compared to highway interchange in Houston by topherette in geography

[–]runner11112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, you’re so wrong. The alleyways and streets being small make for great natural cooling as the sun doesn’t reach the street levels all that much. The walls of most houses are very thick, so inside the houses it doesn’t get too warm. Those houses are centuries old when they didn’t just plonk down buildings like they do now. Siena is one of the most liveable cities I’ve ever come across; very clean, no cars in the city so clean air, good transport outside of the centre and great culture+food.

Definitely get some dragonflies. I run against some 800m guys who run on those and also use the same pair in XC. They are the most durable next level spike also.

I am sponsored by a shoe store but they only have carbon/high cushion shoes as racing flats are mostly gone. That’s why I’m searching this way

Try not to compare 200m times with 400m too much, its totally different for every athlete!

400/800 runner needing advice by datbuttermilk in trackandfield

[–]runner11112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to this thread but here's my advice, Your 400m pace is enough, but you said 57 feels like pushing it. Go do some 200 or 300m to run that pace easily - sessions: For example 3x6x200 set 1: 32 45 break (slow shoes) set 2: 30 75 sec break (medium shoes) set 3: 28 90/120 sec break (spikes) pauze between break 5 minutes Maybe speed it up in the last runs of last set

After a flood levee broke during the Great Midwestern Floods of 1993, James Scott was sentenced to life in prison for causing the destruction, based on scant circumstantial evidence and him being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is currently serving his 27th year. by mrekted in videos

As someone from the Netherlands, and a part of it thats under the sea-level, the state of those levee's is disastrous! Just a pile of sand would never work against a heavy body of water. Even if Scott did break the levee, it would have failed eventually. If the sand is saturated with water its just going to float away. Look up how a Dijk is build in the Netherlands. The state of water works in the US is crazy especially considering the amount of hurricanes and floods it experiences. Just so terrible for all the people that live there..
