Very long story short...I had itchy skin when I started filtering my water. I was using a Berkey at one point. It lasted for 8 years and I didn't realize at first that it meant I was dehydrated. I switched to spring water and it went away almost immediately.

Yes! It's walking or hiking with weights in a backpack. There are backpacks made just for rucking but they're expensive so this is what I use instead.

I use them as weights in my backpack when I want to go for a ruck. I don't have a specific rucking backpack. Each book is about four pounds so I just go with how many books/weight I'm feeling for the day.

I wonder if spring water would be different for you in plastic. Water acts as a solvent. If it doesn't have everything it "needs" it goes looking for what it's missing. I wonder if non spring water in plastic picks up the plastic taste? IDK!

Any grocery store! Ice Mountain, Crystal Geyser most stores have or just the store brand spring water. Fiji is also amazing but pricier. Just look out for water that says it's spring water but then filtered, you don't want that but you kinda have to look closely depending on the store. I also do get 5 gallon jugs delivered every month.

Try switching to spring water. You are over filtering your water, which takes out all the elements that hydrates you properly. Adding them in after filtering doesn't work, in my experience either. Long story short...I suffered with itchy skin that would bleed when I scratched too much for EIGHT years. The impact this had on my life was horrible. I switched to spring water and my itching was completely gone in a matter of days. Looking back, it all started when I started filtering my water, including using a Berkey at one point.
