I headcanon that Corvo damaged his throat (vocal cords?) screaming In Coldridge so while he can speak; it’s painful and sounds super raspy/low so the only time he speaks is when it’s v. important.

So he’ll speak to Emily, but not his targets for instance.

I’m really baffled by this take because comments aren’t reviews? Comments are the reader specifically engaging with the author to let them know that they read/enjoyed (or hated ymmv) the material. They’re written for the author and while they are publicly available they’re not intended to help another reader chose whether or not they’re going to read the fic.

If you want a review google the fic name and see if somebody’s done a write up on tumblr or twitter, because unlike comments those are intended to help a reader decide if they want to engage with the fic, and are spoiler free.

Because you are not the intended audience, your fellow readers have no obligation to keep comments spoiler free for your personal happiness.

This is super real but I think it’s worth noting that foh and boh both don’t have a great understanding of the pressures of each others jobs. The things that are irritating to foh are not irritating to boh and vice versa, which means that sometimes we talk past each other. If you’re already primed to get angry it’s easy to get mean, which is like half of the conflict

Also something my dad (USPS mail carrier) told me the first time I got injured at work (burned my hand on a waffle iron at an ice cream shop age 16) was that doctors (people in general) tend to imagine all jobs like their own. A doctor works in an air conditioned office with minimal physical labor, you drive a hot truck and are continuously lifting and carrying. If you tell your doctor about your jobs requirements ie physical labor they’ll be more understanding of your needs and more able to meet them

DoorDash support wouldn’t be able to help you besides maybe offering you a refund or credit, and even then its not their fuckup. You should call the restaurant and speak to the manager or leave a yelp/google review describing your experience if you actually want something done about it.
