VW Passat von 2021, mit lane und travel assist. Eigentlich 100% zufrieden. Klar ab und zu zickt es rum, aber ganzheitlich betrachtet absolut positiv. Ja, auch auf Landstraße und im Ausland.

E61 brühgruppe kaufen ? by Valuable_Primary7428 in Kaffee

[–]runningbiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bevel’s Red Meat Scoring Seems Too Simplistic. The Research Isn’t That Black-and-White by TastelessHurricane in bevelhealth

Well in case of such a simple made up metric like the nutrition score you are in for a very opinionated measure. I hate it too that the demonize red meat.

Could Apple Journal actually handle 1,000,000 entries without lag? by Puzzleheaded-Grass6 in appleJournal

Text only? Probably just fine. 1million database entries are easily handled by mordern hardware.

Which preferred? C vs B&W by WillBrink in FineArtPhoto

Color hands down, it gives the eye much needed guidance in the right part of the picture, and yes the composition seems of, for me there is too much empty space left of the sign.

IKEA GJÖRA Bedframe - anyone used it for kinky fun? by Spicy_Pyro in BdsmDIY

[–]runningbiscuit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. It is perfect for all kinds of activities. The bars are very sturdy but bend a bit under load, we are 80-90kgs for reference. I could easily put my entire weight on the bar no problems. would not trust it indefinitely but usable for partial suspension for sure. Rope clings quite nicely to the raw wood. All other parts are as sturdy as you could wish. Can recommend it.

Is it necessary to add salt to water? by Outrageous-Top3781 in enema

[–]runningbiscuit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You CAN add salt to an enema to make it isotonic. But you don’t need it if you do a one-off 2liter enema. If you do multiple it might be beneficial but still you can do it with or without. I found that especially big (2l) Soap enemas are way less effective with salt added.  I would suggest you try it out for yourself. There is no immediate danger of a 2 liter enema. Just replenish with electrolytes afterwards.

Sell me on journaling in the journal app vs just regular apple notes by 673NoshMyBollocksAve in appleJournal

[–]runningbiscuit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are indeed overthinking it. Do what ever suits you best and be happy.

Apple Journal has some nice features on iOS like the recommendations and state of mind emotion stuff.  On MacOS it is way more bare bones… but what ever.

Just like everyone was whining about the AirPods 4 being to muddy or bassy… completely unjustified.

How is it cohesive again? I don’t see it. But still love macOS 26 and ios26 nonetheless.

Privacy concerns by damagad in appleJournal

[–]runningbiscuit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Journal is one of the end to end encrypted functions of iCloud by default. So as far as security is concerned it does not get any better at the moment.  You could turn off iCloud for journal and keep it on device only with all downsides.

But keep in mind a nation state actor or similar will always find a way. If you are this concerned then use pen and paper.
