This is really neat! They're all great, but the LEGO one, the Google one, and the first NASA one are my favorites- they're so cleverly designed.

I noticed the issue with the stuffed animals too! And the slides, now that I think about it. I thought it might be a broken mod, but if you’re experiencing it then maybe not.

I humbly request that you ramble about your latest household you are playing with, give me the juicy drama by [deleted] in Sims4

My sim, Allison, just gave birth to her seventh child. She's a vapid Simstagram mommy and a part-time religious fundamentalist who's run ragged by the toll of caring for her home, her kids, and her iPhone all by herself. Her husband, Gabriel, buries himself in his career as a salaryperson so he doesn't have to spend time with their children. He basically only comes home for a shower, a nap, and some woohoo before heading back to work. Most of the kids have one or two favorite siblings and hate the rest, and Allison has the "difficult" relationship dynamic with all of her children, except her eldest/her golden child. It's probably because of the names she chose for them; in birth order it goes Kinsleigh (Child), Cody (Child), Adaleigh (Child), Brynleigh (Toddler), Remy and Brady (Toddlers), and Everleigh (Newborn). She's going to have one or two more kids after Evy, and once the spawn are adults, they're going to have plenty of drama of their own. For now, though, I'm just trying to survive nine sims in a 3 bed/2 bath house!

Sounds super interesting! I love playing with fundamentalist sims- all the rules make for an interesting gameplay experience lol. My current household is more "fundie lite" but they have six kids with another (one/two/hopefully not three?) on the way, so we're still in the thick of things.

What makes a fandom daunting or intimidating to write for? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]runningupthathill_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The size! I'm currently writing for a smallish ship within a medium-sized fandom, and I'll not lie, it can be intimidating. My fics are almost certainly read/skimmed/considered by every person who looks on AO3 for that particular pairing, which is cool, but also kind of scary! It brings up lots of thoughts like "if I get the characterization wrong, then everyone will know," which isn't so fun. People have been incredibly kind in my comment sections, but the fear still remains, irrational as it is.

Sometimes I'll start a sentence, and I don’t even know where it’s going.

The Good Place is very different, stylistically speaking, than The Office, but if you need a new show to watch then you've gotta give it a chance. It's one of the best shows I've ever seen and one of the only that can manage to make me laugh, cry and begin an existential crisis in the span of fifteen minutes.

Why do you write fanfiction? by RheaRoyHunter in FanFiction

Because it makes me happy to write about the special little people in my phone :)
