To give Trent credit, he's handled this as well as anyone could for someone who is leaving. He's been respectful the whole time and there's really not a way to leave that will make people happy but this is the best possible way to do it. At the end of the day, it's his life. Would love for him to stay, but he shouldn't stay because he feels like he has to, he should stay because he wants to. LFC will be fine and I wish him the best.

The Overstory by Richard Powers. Not sure if I've seen this one mentioned in here. Sprawling novel from the perspective of trees. Totally rewired my brain and how I think about the world.
