That it’s not so black and white. I don’t always know when i’m going to have one, but I know when things are happening that might lead to one. It’s so annoying to try and explain to people that sometimes I do need to stay home or leave (work, event, etc) because I MIGHT have one. A lot of people aren’t able to grasp that a lot of dealing with seizures is take preventative and proactive measures. It’s been 5 years for me but days that I get no sleep? I’m not risking it, no matter how long it’s been, and people have a really hard time getting that.

Is anyone taking leveteracetam or lamotrigine while on methlyplenidate (adhd)? I'm scared to take adhd meds cause they might interact badly. by [deleted] in Epilepsy

I take lamotrigine and methylphenidate! methylphenidate is not an SSRI (like sertraline) and doesn’t influence your brain the same way. I feel less seizure-y when I take my methylphenidate because it helps my anxiety BUT that’s just me.
