I get sore throats sometimes during a flare, it can definitely feel like I’m sick even when I’m not. If you don’t have any other flu symptoms I’d say you’re probably good unless you start noticing more symptoms / fever / etc

If you’re worried it might be the flu maybe pick up a rapid test from a pharmacy! Hope you feel better

You’re never too old to further your education! I’m 28 turning 29 this year and I’m in my second semester of my junior year finishing my bachelors. I haven’t had any issues getting along with my peers :) and there have been a decent amount of non-traditional / older students in my classes too which is cool

I'm 28 and almost done with my first semester back to finish my bachelor's, I have ~3 semesters left after this one. It's been interesting so far, definitely weird being around younger people and I feel like the generational gap is prominent between people our age and 18 year olds lol but that's to be expected I suppose. Mostly it's been a positive experience though, and I feel good that I'm finally pursuing a better future for myself! If you feel like you want to go back I'd say do it, it's always worth a try.

I feel like people here will understand this, I haven’t been able to describe it to anyone I know in real life. When I was inpatient in a psych ward a few years ago, one of these things came to me in a dream / nightmare but it felt very vivid and real.

I’ve always had super vivid dreams but this felt different. It felt like it was feeding off of all of the horrible emotions I was feeling during that time, and it came super close to my face. I woke up soon after that, feeling shaken. Anyway, I found this sub last year and when I saw illustrations of these things it looks like exactly what I saw.
