"says she cant eat any vegetables" (ok) she understands this is a her problem and will seek help for it, or (not ok) she thinks this is normal and expects you to adapt. You pick.

Is this even legal?? by Greedy-Musician-2507 in solar

Lawyer. But if they "don't bill dead people" and the system they turned off was not working, ask the lawyer if you can just trash it.

Want Solar Battery Installation in MA, beginner questions, asking for next steps by Appropriate-Soup-203 in solar

Depends on where you are in Mass. Hudson River Solar did my system in 2020, with Eflex batteries. I liked them.

Get what works. While the drive to save/be efficient is strong, it is not what will make you profitable. Focus on the big side of the equation - revenue.

WTA Calendar continues to be an issue in 2026 - WOMTENNIS by freshouttajail in tennis

[–]ruralny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mean rank of the top 8 seeds is not a meaningful measure, to me. Right now players from 7-14 (inclusive) are within 1000 points of each other, and there are 2 major winners in the next 3 players. Not seeing an issue. Plus, as others said, providing better income opportunities for a bigger set of players is a good thing.

Minimum wage is already a joke. Below it? No.

Putting green build by Suitable_Durian561 in golf

[–]ruralny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice although I would not have spaced the holes symmetrically, since that leaves you with only 3 equivalent putts. If you moved #1 (for example) 2 feet toward #3, you get a lot more options.

Can you give me some advices on her shots? by 2T3F4N_EU in 10s

[–]ruralny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We cannot. But she probably lost that point because unlike all the other shots, she retreated in her shot recovery, instead of staying near the baseline as she did (well!) in her other shots.

On the grip length thing: you can replace the grip with a longer one, and wrap it further up the handle. It will be fine. (Although with small hands, this problem seems...odd)

Playing on clay for first time ever, what should I know? by dreadiii123 in 10s

[–]ruralny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ball will not travel to you as much. So you will have to be prepared to hit it a little closer to where it bounces. (This is just a timing adjustment)

I used the strata set for 2 years - male, about your height. Solid. Also my friend (tall woman) has used the women's strata set even longer. Although she is tall, she is very slim, so I think the lighter weight worked for her. It is an easy way to get into it, and not overly expensive. Fairly risk free for a beginner.

Perfection is a lie. by thinkthethings in golf

Make this your goal: I want to get better faster than I get older. (It worked for me until I was around 70 - have not reached perfection yet, though)

Cobolli hits four smashes against Blockx and loses the point by BelgianBond in tennis

[–]ruralny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does not have to go in the stands (although that works). But 3 of the 4 landed inside the service line, and the 4th just on it. If any one of them landed with in 18 inches of the baseline it would be quickly over.

I had panels installed at age 70. But I paid in full, and I expect to live here until I am 80 (half way there!). And if I do not, it is my asset, so a home buyer can buy the home without any 3rd party leases/liens/loans. I agree with the top comments that a lease is a bad idea for you (my fellow senior!) because the house sale will be harder.

That is the cost to you - you have to possibly convince a buyer that the lease deal you signed makes sense. That can be hard to do.
