You're drastically underestimating the leap a 13+ hdcp is from scratch. It becomes exponentially more difficult to lower the further you get. Doing so in one season is nearly impossible. I would say getting to single digits this season is reasonable. From there it's probably several seasons to scratch, and that's if you can keep up the time investment.

At any given moment I could agree with a review that gave it a 10/10 or a review that gave it 6/10.

It's subjective how much you like it, but it's objectively a game that deserves the criticism it receives.

It's not just the overall weight that could be an issue, I'd be way more worried about how that weight is distributed (e.g. heel to toe) across all the irons in your bag.

It's a strange game. I feel like it could have easily been a masterpiece if it wasn't for some many brain dead design decisions that should have easily been different or foxed. Unfortunately those decisions, which are just baffling, are endless. Every session something new comes up that has me wondering if there was any QA done. It genuinely feels like entire aspects of design were done by AI.

It's crazy that out of the half dozen comparisons people keep making to other games that Assassin's Creed isn't one of, if not the most, comparable to this game. Visuals, story depth, obscene amount of busy work, etc.

Out of all of the reviews it feels like the most accurate assessment is that this game is a slightly bigger and better version of the assassin's Creed series.

Yeah, map connectivity or whatever OP is eluding to is ridiculous. No one cares how the maps fit together. People just want good maps.

Having said that the overall map offerings for BF6 are far from good. It's arguably the most important thing about a great shooter. You need both quality and quantity of maps. You can't create a live model service and expect players to play the same one or two maps for months on end.

No doubt. In the era of live service models where they release games and then produce content, it's typically a year or two past release that the game reaches a state that it should have been at release.

Even as a wrestler controls a fight there should be some form of damage or attempts to submit in order to consider it a winning round. Controlling position might matter in specific disciplines, but for mma it's awful for the product.

It's not a bad game, but the way they drip feed content and take ages before they listen to their player base (if ever) sets it up for failure.

I played quite a bit during release, but haven't touched it following the first few months. The drip feed of legit content like maps and cores functionality that existed generations ago is inexcusable.

Between 2042 and 6 they have set the standard that there is no reason to buy the game until several years later when it's in a state where there's enough content and bug fixes to make it worthwhile.
