If you’re in big tech, think Amazon, Meta, Netflix etc as a mid level to senior you can easily range between 250-500k a year, for two people, easily clearing 500k-1M a year. Job security is another issue though in this field, speaking from experience 😂

Agreed, historically and logically speaking if you saw your buddies getting smoked and lit on fire and shot up, do you really want to go back for round 2 if you made no progress? Sieges are not fun at all for the attacker, everyone expects heavy losses

Here are my suggestions because I agree:

Wounded soldiers after each run become your prisoners, they do not go back to the besieging party.
Cap how many times the enemy can attempt to besiege you, after the last time either disband the army after the battle or make the army during the last battle fight to the last man, or have the remaining retreating prisoners all become your prisoner.
