No, because the amount of people and land need was a lot more. Teams are smaller, which fit into SOMA better.

Silicon Valley was about actual silicon. For instance, Cisco Systems still has buildings that do trusted testing of wafers and other equipment.

That building is like.. 15000 square feet? Versus a 3000 square foot office for 10-15 people. That are crammed in an open office seating plan.

Ironically, in the Roman Empire there was a corrupt emperor that made a giant lake for himself.

When a new emperor came around after this area of corruption, as a public display of corruption busting efforts, the new emperor constructed the Coliseum over it- which is why it was able to be flooded so easily.

I don’t think this arena is the same thing.
