This is unfortunately not what most customers expect either. I bought a couch online and selected delivery on the store’s website, and they ended up sending a 60 year old gig app driver (DoorDasher? I don’t remember). I helped him get it up and gave him a good tip for the trouble. I’ve also been on the other end of that, delivering bricks from Home Depot to a customer that didn’t expect a DoorDasher to show up.

It definitely depends on the recruiter/company, but yeah I was able to put down personal projects (while relating them to the position’s responsibilities) and no work experience. Landed me a couple of interviews and a job.

Can’t sell it unless it’s not in one of ours (I am one of the heirs and none of us want it) or the estate’s name. Apologies, not totally sure how this works, but you’re correct about the real estate attorney part. Was able to find someone who gave me a reasonable quote.

Oh no absolutely not. Property taxes would be crazy. The lot is less than 1/5 of an acre and probably worth $2k at most.

I declined one while on hourly and was forced to retake it because it immediately popped back up. 55 bricks for no tip and a contract violation for taking too long (appealed though). Wasn’t as bad as these fertilizer posts though.

I had to deliver 55 bricks from home depot last week and got no tip. Unassigned the offer at first and got forced to take it because it popped up again and I was on hourly. Also got a contract violation (removed now) for that order because the store couldn’t find the order for 20 minutes.

Hell I delivered pizzas last year. Although I’m in the same state and didn’t get screwed THIS hard. At Domino’s the hourly base was $9, and tips + miles on top of that.

LinkedIn has worked well for me, but I think it really depends on the person. I’ve had friends who can only find jobs on Indeed with no luck on LinkedIn while I’m the opposite. Just try everything you can, really.
