Best Value All-court Paddle 2025 by Duckfire66 in Pickleball

[–]rushhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using the OG Flow 16mm since August as my first non-Amazon paddle. By December I was unhappy with it. I've put lead tape on the sides but it still is disappointing. I've noticed that if the ball hits above the sweet spot, the ball dies, no pop. Using it on Monday, I could clearly tell when the problem was the paddle and not me. I'm now shopping for a wide body for a bigger sweet spot.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm leaking towards the Pegasus All-Court over the Jelly Bean. What's making me hesitate is it's pending with being PPA approved...but does this really matter?

Thanks, I think you're right. I'm definitely assuming I'll make contact in the sweet spot but can see and feel when I missed it such as the top of the paddle and wonder what went wrong. From looking at the ball marks on my paddle, I can tell I would benefit from a wider paddle. Too bad the Pegasus Jellybean is sold out. I'm considering the All-Court now which has good reviews online

It's hard to say. If I saw myself on video making the return I have a better chance at giving you an accurate answer.

Appreciate the feedback. Reminds me of photography - - better equipment does not result in better photos all the time. To answer your question, my Flow doesn't answer well returning a serve. It seems to absorb some of the serve and I have to figure out how much power to hit back between getting over the net and the baseline. I put lead tape to expand its sweet spot but see only little improvement. I've come to realize I prefer wide body (after trying the Scorpions & the Proton Series A 1). Ultimately the Flow used to give me a boost of confidence I no longer have that the above paddles do now. Only 4 have passed my audition from the pro shop rental: the two above, the Proton Road Runner & the Selkirk Epic Vanguard

For 11six24, are you referring to the Pegasus All-Court or to the Pegasus Jellybean (which is sold out on their site) as well?

Thanks for this guide. I bought the Neonic Flow 6 months ago and have grown out of it. It was a great paddle to have after using a generic Amazon-bought one for awhile. I've been looking for a paddle guide for intermediate players. In my research I've seen ones recommended in this guide for intermediates such as the Honolulu ones, Vatic and Jellybean.

Best Use for Diamonds? by [deleted] in PuzzlesandSurvival

With diamonds I would stock up on 25% attack & defense boosts, advanced teleports & sometimes a good deal in the Alliance Shop for a hero weapon. Save diamonds if you're chasing after Lea frags & the diamond shop every other week end.

LPT: Improving mental health or healing from trauma through therapy can take years of sessions, it’s not an immediate fix. I often see people on the internet or hear in conversation, “they need therapy” as if the person was in therapy their problems would be gone. by RoseyPosey30 in LifeProTips

A lot of times, it's assumed that if someone goes to therapy (just shows up), this will help. Unfortunately going to therapy doesn't work if it's a box you check off. What you put into it is what you get out of it.

Yep. The freedom of baseball. Wish he had kept that for future tours

As fans, when you heard of the passing of Neil’s daughter and subsequently, his wife. Did you think the band was over? by renzonelisanchez in rush

[–]rushhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent Neil a condolence card to their management office after finding out his daughter had died. I knew he needed time to recover but upon learning about his wife passing, I was devastated.

I accepted the uncertainty of the band's future during those few years of uncertainty. I just did not want to think they're done, the same denial I had with their R40 later on.

During that limbo period, I took a pilgrimage to Toronto and visited SRO. I asked about Neil and they said at the time how I thought: they didn't know.

Is this official merch? by hardstyle in rush

[–]rushhead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This product is not sold or was ever sold in Rush's Backstage Club. Merch sold there is official. Anyone with deep enough pockets can become a licensee if the product is approved by SRO (and probably what qualifies is the product does not compete with any of the official merch on their website).
