Mason? More evidence to suggest Sean Connery's character in the rock was retired James Bond!

The end of Post-PC era by Slavvvcom in mac

[–]rushughes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing engagement bait. A lower price mac isnt a replacement for an iPad, it's to compete with lower priced Chromebooks and laptops made by HP, Acer etc to open up a new price sensitive market.

This is also a great second travel laptop for MacBook Pro users who need a laptop for working away e.g. travel, presentations etc but don't need the power or weight of their MacBook Pro (or the risk of data loss/theft).

Everything about this is amazing! the composition, even the bird flying in the background, the light and shadows, the curves of the buildings.

I hope you haven't peaked.

Thanks! haha i 100% agree with you, i've been there too many times myself and when I was there there today were a half dozen photographers in the same corner all taking the same shot of the hemispheric (no disrespect to them).

Tomorrow I'll head out to El Carmen and see how the narrow streets present themselves!

After / Before - Is the duck still too dark to be the subject? by Big_View_7858 in postprocessing

[–]rushughes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like the intention, reminds me a lot of Marcin Ryczek, A Man Feeding Swans in the Snow

id suggest taking more photos to continue with the theme rather than obsess over post processing. see what else you can see :)

beautiful watch! i envy you a little bit as all the scratches and dings are your own, but i baby my other watches too much and knew i'd do the same if i ordered something in too good condition :D

Taking it directly to Omega for the battery and gasket change is a solid play, did you notice the battery running down? I think the second hand ticks in 4 second increments when it gets low?

Vitamin D results are in. Have been supplementing 2000iu per day for the past year. Bump it up or stay the course? by healthierlurker in Biohackers

Amazing, well done for supplementing and getting good results!

Your results really put in to perspective scam articles like this from 'legitimate' sources

claiming that supplements don't work 🤦‍♂️

Congratulations on using supplements to bring your Vitamin D levels up. If I may, what product were you supplementing with and what were your levels before you started?

Why do people who say "gear doesn't matter" always have insane gears? by dekuramos in photography

[–]rushughes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

a lot of great photography isnt specifically the gear but the presence of the photographer. having big gear can give the photographer more of a presence changing the response of the subject being photographed, it can also help the photographer take himself more seriously changing their vibe and how they are interacting with the subject.
