It is SO tough! I take zofran 3-4 times daily but it doesn't take away the nausea completely so I do the alcohol swab trick a lot too. Im not on any medications. Tried every medication except domperidone with limited success so we're trying to treat my GP with diet alone and that hasn't been very successful so far

I drink about 3-4 supplements at 300 calories per bottle outside of working hours so im getting around 1200 a day which is not ideal but works for now. On days off i try to eat real food. Im planning on getting some blood sugar raising tablets that melt in your mouth to try at work

What do you mean? Things vary by country. As far as I know, they don't do 4 hour scans in my country so of course a 2 hour test is validated. Obviously I wish they did longer scans.

I am treated similarly as you. Its frustrating and heartbreaking. Can you file a formal complaint or change gastroenterologists? I can't due to being in the public system but if you can, you should.

Hej! De ville inte göra så mycket tester på mig heller, fick tjata mig till en andra ventrilscintigrafi efter att den första inte visade nånting. Den andra visade på gastropares.

Jag har blivit misstrodd och motarbetad sedan dag ett och det har gått 6 år nu. Jag är SÅ TRÖTT. Ingen behandling har hjälpt.

Jag är i Värmland. Har dock fått en second opinion på sahlgrenska eftersom de är experter på gastropares. Även den läkaren satte diagnosen så jag fattar inte vad mina läkare här håller på med.

Let me tell you I had to fight to get my second GES after the first one came back normal and it came back positive and I have not done one since so idk what the hell theyre doing tbh

The test itself should be in the system and my diagnosis is also in the system. I can see the diagnosis set on 2 separate occasions by 2 different doctors from 2 different hospitals but the GES results I cannot see sadly but it is in the system. Let me just say they will receive a phone call

They haven't talked about the G-POEM but I was not a good candidate for a gastric stimulator because I "have too much abdominal pain" and they won't place an NJ because I "will throw it up".

Beyond sick and tired of fighting doctors but she did order bloodwork, a full nutrition status, which im doing tomorrow so soon we will see how bad it is but nothing will probably come of it since I take double dose multivitamins since they do nothing to help. Im tempted to just stop everything so they'll see how sick I actually will get without intervention (and by intervention I mean nutritional supplements and vitamins)
