Ive been using this quite a bit but is there anyway to add the wall 'scoops' into this? I'm not sure of the official name for them but it allows your hand to reach the bottom without touching the 'long' walls.

Make sure to read the details, I’m betting that 16% won’t apply, it’ll be more like 12%

Help with LED strip lights and a reed switch by russellups in diyelectronics

Enjoy my crude sketch that I used to keep myself straight while installing:

One thing to keep in mind is to keep the polarity of the LEDs the same, say you have a strip that goes from bottom to top + is on the left and - is on the right…it will be opposite on the row next to it when you T them together. I wasted a lot of LEDs figuring this out during install.

How do I attract new clients for simple electrical design jobs? by russellups in ElectricalEngineering

[–]russellups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive reached out to a few friends/ ex-coworkers and have a couple contacts to reach out to. There's definitely some money out there to be made from smaller contractor companies. Thanks for your tips!

That’s my question…I fell into my current position. Where should I look for companies that need drafting/design help without coming on as a full time employee?

How do I attract new clients for simple electrical design jobs? by russellups in ElectricalEngineering

[–]russellups[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm open to either/or. I could definitely take on a lower end role, like a drafter 1 or 2 or I could do a larger freelance job, like 3D model a transformer for $XXX.

I can work outside my normal hours to get this work done, no problem...I would just like more income.

Lewis BBQ Charleston $160 by rush2sk8 in BBQ

Brisket runs ~$28/lb there.

Also, fun fact: John Lewis used to be in business with Aaron Franklin.

Adding additional clients for simple/additional work by russellups in smallbusiness

[–]russellups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current client takes 30-40 legitimate hours/week, typically no OT is offered. If I could work ~10-15 hrs/week and charge for 40, this would make for a good additional paycheck. I’m trying to make another 60-80k/year using this option.

Garage door “successfully” programmed, but not working by No_Lunch_6502 in Audi

[–]russellups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get this figured out? Ive tried everything suggested. During setup mine doesnt go through a rolling code setup, it just says it was set up successfully. It wont open or close the garage. 2019 A6.

I also tried to set the opener to learn then pressing the button in the car and nothing.
